The panoramas that you see here are actually composites of several images merged together (with Canon Photo-Stitch software). Although the results give a good idea of a wide-field view, some anomalies can and do crop up. For example, an airplane taking off from Long Beach airport is sometimes seen twice in the same picture. There are also some weird bending and dissolving problems in some stitched images. For example, a machine arm mysteriously vanishes into "thin air" in the middle of the June 01 Bldg 5 panorama.

Flawed images that contain reflections, smudges and traffic are the norm at Wilexa.com. We take pains to minimize these problems, but often they are unavoidable. Our policy is that getting the best possible image, even though flawed, is important to recording these time-sensitive events.
